DAAD Institutional Visit
University visit at DeKUT in Nyeri
At the invitation of the Vice-Chancellor of Dedan Kimathi University (DeKUT), Professor R. Eng. P. N. Kioni, the DAAD Director of the Regional Office, Beate Schindler-Kovats, visited the University in Nyeri on February 11, 2022.

DAAD with its funding programme Entrepreneurial Universities in Africa (EpU) aims at the promotion of entrepreneurial thinking, teaching and acting at the partner universities. Also institutional changes in the structures and offerings of the participating institutions are supposed to act as key indicators for the development towards “entrepreneurial universities.
Garissa Master Scholarship Kenya from the DAAD Foundation
The Nairobi office was commissioned by the DAAD-Stiftung at the beginning of 2021 to announce the call for applications for the follow-up scholarship among the “Garissa” alumni. An overwhelming number of 170 alumni submitted their applications via the DAAD portal; in a competitive selection process with interviews, seven scholarships were awarded, three to females.
