The challenge for Kenya's higher education industry is no longer whether AI will disrupt institutions, but rather how Kenya will shape that transition.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Commission for University Education (CUE) co-sponsored the three-day dialog, which brought together representatives from CUE, the Ministry of Higher Education, universities, DAAD, the UbuntuNet Alliance, and other stakeholders to discuss the opportunities, risks, and policy implications of AI in higher education.
