DAAD Regional Office for East Africa celebrates 50th anniversary in 2023

In September 1973, the DAAD opened a small office in Nairobi, Kenya. The DAAD branch office soon transformed into a regional office for East Africa and is now responsible for Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and Ethiopia.
