Upon the invitation of Kenyatta University, the DAAD regional office in Nairobi recently took part in Kenyatta University’s annual Career Fair 2026. The event, themed “Bridging Science and Industry: Unlocking Sustainable Opportunities from Campus to Career,” attracted hundreds of enthusiastic visitors to the DAAD booth who wanted to learn about the DAAD and its opportunities.

Visitors actively engaged with the team to ask about scholarships, postgraduate studies, internships, academic exchange, and career development, making the interactions a valuable chance to provide guidance and answer questions.

The conversations and connections made during the event highlighted the growing interest in international academic collaboration and skills development.

We thank Kenyatta University for inviting us to participate at the event; which allowed the DAAD to contribute to an initiative that continues to inspire, empower, and prepare young people for the future of work by fostering meaningful partnerships between academia and industry.
