DAAD Dinner Talk: Dialogue and Networking on the Future of AI in Higher Education and Skills for Tomorrow's Workforce
His talk on “The Impact of Modern AI on Higher Education and Skills for Tomorrow’s Workforce” couldn’t have been more timely. From how AI is transforming the job market to, if we are educating on AI for the right jobs, how universities globally need to be reliable sources for lifelong learning on AI, how educators need to embrace AI if its relevant to their disciplines, if higher education practitioners should ethically raise the bar high in evaluations because of AI and generally its influence on the university curricula. The discussion sparked a lot of meaningful conversations.
It was great to see many interested participants, both in person and online, taking the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with one another. The event was also a valuable networking experience, especially amongst those in higher education and the tech industry.
