DAAD Conducts first PhD Proposal Writing Workshop in Uganda—Upcoming Session Scheduled!
In various sessions, the 40 participants were trained on essential aspects of a research proposal, such as the formulation of a research problem, how to conduct research ethically and how to use online resources before the participants were split into thematic groups that focussed on individual research ideas.
Next week, we will conduct a second PhD Proposal Writing Workshop at MMUST in Kenya and are anticipating another 40 participants. This time, with gratitude, we rely on Kenyan DAAD Alumni to lend us their time and expertise.
Our proposal writing seminars often prepare attendees for funding opportunities to pursue a PhD in Germany. This year, the application deadline will be 30th September 2025.
