Are you working academically or practically in climate protection or climate-relevant resource conservation in your home country – a non-European developing or transition country? Then we invite you to apply for an International Climate Protection Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
If you are a prospective leader you will do a one-year research-related project in Germany as part of your fellowship; if you are a postdoc, long-term academic research (12-24 months). It should focus on combating climate change, adaptation strategies, preserving ecosystems and biodiversity, or on the sustainable use of the seas and oceans. Sustainability topics relating to natural resources, resource-efficient consumption or urban development are also welcome.
The closing date for the current application round is 1 February 2023.
The 1st International Conference on Technological Advancement in Embedded and Mobile Systems (ICTA – EMoS) is scheduled take place this month on 24 and 25 November in Arusha, Tanzania. The event aims to be platform for the presentation of original research results, as well as exchange and dissemination of innovative and practical development experiences.
The conference will draw researchers, application developers, and practitioners (industrial partners) from a wide range of embedded and mobile systems related areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, mobile applications development, etc. By promoting novel, high-quality research findings, and innovative solutions to challenging embedded and mobile application problems (EMoS), the conference seeks to advance the state-of-the-art in EMoS.
More than a hundred papers were submitted; selected papers will be presented during the conference and be published in the book “Advances, Trends and Applications in Embedded and Mobile Systems” with Springer. Abstracts will be available as part of the conference package.
